Q. Does my child need prior robotics or coding experience?
No. Prior robotics or coding experience is not required. Our instructors help identify the right starting point based on your child’s age, interests, and current skills. Students begin at an appropriate level and progress toward more advanced projects as they build experience.
Q. Are the classes difficult?
Our classes are designed to challenge students without making learning frustrating. Activities are adjusted to students’ age and experience level, with an emphasis on hands-on learning, successful project completion, and enjoying the process.
Q. How do I choose the right course or level?
We always recommend starting with a Free Trial Lesson if you are unsure. During the trial, your child participates in a regular class while the instructor observes their interests, skills, independence, and comfort with the activities. We can then recommend the most appropriate course and level.
Q. What happens if my child misses a class?
We offer flexible make-up options when possible. Please contact us after a missed class, and we will help identify an available make-up session. Make-up classes are subject to class availability and appropriate age/course level.
Q. Can my child switch to another course?
Yes. We regularly observe student progress and may recommend moving to a different course or level when appropriate. Families may also request a change because of interests, schedule, or other needs. Course changes are subject to availability.
School-Year Classes & Memberships
The policies below apply to our regular weekly enrichment classes during the school year. Vacation and summer programs follow a separate cancellation policy described later on this page.
Q. What enrollment options are available for school-year classes?
Families may choose from four enrollment options:
Season — $459 || 12 weeks of classes, paid in full.
Monthly Membership — $159/month || Flexible monthly enrollment with automatic monthly payments.
Full Year — $1,299 || 10 months of classes, paid in full. This provides our best overall value.
Annual Membership — $139/month || Automatic monthly payments with a 10-month commitment. Availability and pricing may vary for selected programs.
Q. How does Monthly Membership work?
Monthly Membership costs $159 per month. Your payment method is charged automatically each month while your membership remains active. Monthly Membership is designed for families who want maximum flexibility. You may cancel at any time with no cancellation fee.
Q. How does Annual Membership work?
Annual Membership costs $139 per month and includes a 10-month commitment. Payments are made automatically each month rather than paying the full year upfront. If you need to cancel before completing the commitment, a $199 early cancellation fee applies. The cancellation fee includes one final month of classes, so your child may continue attending during that closing month.
Q. What is the difference between Full Year and Annual Membership?
Both are designed for families planning to attend throughout the school year, but the payment structure is different.
Full Year — $1,299 is paid upfront and provides the best overall value.
Annual Membership — $139/month allows families to spread payments throughout the year while making a 10-month commitment.
Q. Are Season and Full Year payments refundable?
No.
Season and Full Year payments are non-refundable.
If your child needs to move to another suitable class, we will work with you to make the change whenever space and scheduling allow.
Q. When are Membership payments charged?
Membership payments are charged automatically according to the payment schedule presented during registration. Your payment method remains securely on file for future scheduled payments.
Q. Can I change from Monthly Membership to Annual Membership?
Yes, in most cases. Please contact us and we can help change your enrollment, subject to program availability and the applicable membership terms.
Q. Can I change classes while I have a Membership?
Yes. Membership is intended to support your child’s continued participation, not lock them into a specific curriculum level. If another class is a better academic or scheduling fit, we will help arrange a transfer when space is available.
Q. What discounts are available for school-year classes?
Discounts and promotions may vary by season.
Current offers may include:
- sibling discounts;
- back-to-back class discounts;
- referral benefits;
- seasonal or Early Bird offers.
Applicable discounts are shown during registration.
Q. How does the Refer-a-Friend offer work?
When an enrolled family refers a new family, the new family may receive a 10% enrollment discount using the applicable referral offer or coupon.
After the referred family successfully joins the program, the referring family receives a $50 family credit that can be used toward future eligible programs.
Vacation & Summer Programs
Vacation and summer programs are separate from our school-year Classes and Memberships and follow their own cancellation policy.
Q. What is your Vacation Program cancellation policy?
If you cancel 21 days or more before the program start date, the full amount will be transferred to your Family Credit Account.
If you cancel between 21 and 7 days before the program start date, your payment minus a $50 cancellation fee will be transferred to your Family Credit Account.
For cancellations fewer than 7 days before the program start date, a $100 cancellation fee applies, and the remaining balance will be transferred to your Family Credit Account.
Family Credit may be used toward eligible future Inventor STEM School programs.
Q. Does the School-Year Membership cancellation policy apply to Vacation Programs?
No.
School-Year Classes and Memberships and Vacation/Summer Programs are different products and have separate cancellation policies.
For example:
- Season and Full Year school-year enrollments are non-refundable.
- Monthly Membership can be canceled without a cancellation fee.
- Annual Membership has a $199 early cancellation fee.
- Vacation Programs follow the 21-day / 7-day cancellation schedule described above.
Q. Can I receive a refund to my original payment method for a Vacation Program?
When a Vacation Program cancellation qualifies for Family Credit under the policy above, you may request a refund to the original debit or credit card instead.
A 3% administrative fee based on the total order amount applies to refunds returned to the original payment method.
