Unleash your child’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a one-hour Inventor Drop-in Session! In each engaging self-guided session, each young inventor is provided with one of our STEM-focused building kits – with all the necessary bricks and step-by-step instructions – and works independently to complete an exciting project. Designed to be both educational and fun, each session encourages kids to follow the instructions at their own pace while exploring the wonders of science, technology, and engineering. Drop in for a fun hands-on learning and discovery – where the only limit is their curiosity!
Recommended Ages: 5-13
These self-guided Inventor Drop-in Sessions are designed to provide a flexible alternative for families. (Our regular small-group enrichment courses are all instructor-led and meet weekly with students registering for at least five consecutive weeks.)
No prior experience or knowledge is necessary! A member of our team will help your student select a developmentally-appropriate project and will be nearby to provide “technical assistance” as needed.
As much as we love hosting grown-up Lego fans, Inventor Drop-in Sessions are intended for students only. However, we are pleased to offer a separate parents-only workspace (with WiFi) just down the hall!
There are no restrictions on the number of sessions you can register for – overall or on any given day. For example, you’re welcome to register your student for multiple back-to-back sessions on a single day and/or multiple visits over weeks or months.
